Dr. Sperazza is a therapeutic optometrist specializing in comprehensive and family eye care, contact lenses and low vision. Dr. Sperazza is a graduate of the SUNY College of Optometry (1992).
She completed a residency in geriatric optometry, ocular disease and low vision at Coler Memorial Hospital in New York. Dr. Sperazza is a member of the Beta, Sigma, Kappa Honor Society, the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Sperazza concentrates on comprehensive refractive and therapeutic eye care. In addition to diagnosing and treating diseases of the eye, she gives special attention to obtaining accurate prescription of eye glasses and contact lenses.
Her practice also includes rigid gas permeable contact lenses as well as soft and astigmatic lenses. Dr. Sperazza offers low vision services to visually impaired patients and examines children as well as adults.
Dr. Sperazza is currently the Director of Low Vision Services at the Jewish Guild for the Blind. In addition, she supervises a residents program in low vision with Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Sperazza has authored 3 articles on topics ranging from ocular disease to low vision.
